On April 21, 2006, Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain turns 80 and she celebrates her official birthday on June 17, 2006. She has been the Queen of Great Britain since 1952.
When visiting the US in Tampa Florida, she was presented by the City of Tampa with an original Frabel glass sculpture, created by Hans Godo Frabel. Queen Elizabeth was so thrilled with Frabel's glass rendering of a palmtree, that she was overheard saying it would receive a special place on her yacht.
