The largest mansion in Georgia (an amazing 34,000 sq. ft. home on the Chattahoochee River) is owned by Larry Dean, who built it over the course of four years from 1988 to 1992. Larry Dean is one of Georgia's most successful entrepreneurs and the founder of Stockholder Systems, Inc., a publicly owned company whose major accomplishment was the creation of software used for ATM machines.
The interior of the home was completely designed by his then 21 year old son Chris Dean. The Dean Gardens (which is comprised of 63 acres of gorgeous Oriental, Italian and French gardens) is a much loved tourist attraction and helicopter flights over the property are offered on a daily basis.
Larry and Sandy Dean were kind enough to open the doors of their home for a fundraiser for the Playhouse, a new theater that is in the process of being built in Norcross, Georgia. As a token of the Playhouse's appreciation, they offered the Deans an exclusive "Comedy and Tragedy" sculpture, created by Frabel's Master Glass Artist Hung Nguyen.
