Ilya Kvalchuk receives Gilner-Reeves award

Ilya Kvalchuk, ice hockey player for the Atlanta Thrashers, received the Gilner-Reeves award. The award is named after Stephen Gilner and Steve Reeves, two Cobb County police offers killed in the line of Duty, and is given to the player who best exemplifies the true spirit of giving back to the community. The sculpture was created by Sean Thomson Short, Glass Artist of the Frabel Studio.
