The largest mansion in Georgia (an amazing 34,000 sq. ft. home on the Chattahoochee River) is owned by Larry Dean, who built it over the course of four years from 1988 to 1992. Larry Dean is one of Georgia's most successful entrepreneurs and the founder of Stockholder Systems, Inc., a publicly owned company whose major accomplishment was the creation of software used for ATM machines. The interior of the home was completely designed by his then 21 year old son Chris Dean.
