Hung Nguyen

Hung Nguyen was born in Hoa Binh, Vietnam in 1959. He came to the United States as a refugee from North Vietnam in 1981 and became a glass artist apprentice at the Fräbel Studio in July 1985. Very quickly, it became clear that Nguyen was a "natural". He now carries the title of Master of Glass Art, due to his exceptional skills in creating outstanding glass art pieces in stunning compositions. Hans Godo Fräbel often describes Nguyen as "better than I am" in large glass sculpting. Nguyen is not only an outstanding glass artist but is also a gifted designer and is responsible for developing several of the more popular designs of the Studio. Nguyen lives with his wife Hoa and sons Michael and Christopher in Lilburn, Georgia. Nguyen's art is in the hands of some of the most famous world citizens such as President George Bush, Mikhail Gorbachev, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Wayne Newton and Larry King.
