Longfellow Gravity
2009 | Phipps Conservatory, 2009
This glass installation titled “Longfellow gravity” is one of Hans Godo Frabel’s most recent creations and is making its debut at Phipps Conservatory. It consists of 3 large cubes that seem to tumble down a hill into a pond, surrounded by 14 glass Longfellows in different sizes who continue to play while all of this is happening. Some of these “Longfellows” are about 4 feet tall.
